AWS PrivateLink
AWS PrivateLink provides private connectivity between virtual private clouds (VPCs), supported AWS services, and your on-premises networks without exposing your traffic to the public internet.
With AWS PrivateLink for Grafana Cloud, you can send telemetry from your AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to Grafana Cloud while staying on the Amazon network.
By sending telemetry to Grafana Cloud using PrivateLink, you avoid traversing the public internet. This has security benefits and helps lower your network egress costs.
AWS PrivateLink endpoints are available in all regions where Grafana Cloud is hosted. You can use these endpoints instead of the normal remote_write endpoints you use to send metrics, logs, traces, and profiles to Grafana Cloud.
These Grafana Cloud services support AWS PrivateLink:
- Fleet Management
- Graphite
- Loki
- Mimir
- Pyroscope
- Tempo
- OTLP endpoints
See Configure AWS PrivateLink for instructions on how to send data to Grafana Cloud using AWS PrivateLink.
